Solar EnergyAs part of its strategic approach the Aspen Group believes that it is possible to conduct economic and business activities alongside contributions to the environment. A combination of identifying green investment channels, original initiatives, long term planning and uncompromising implementation - all these enable integration of financial feasibility with social responsibility.
In 2009 the group signed a collaboration agreement with Solar Power Ltd. to construct solar power stations. One of these facilities has been constructed on the roof of a building owned by Aspen Group and located in the Kfar Saba Hi-tech Park. The facility produces electrical power with a total output of 50 Kilowatts. Additional Solar projects in Ashkelon and Rosh-Ha'ayin have been completed and others are currently under development.
